Frequently asked questions
The Regular Bracket works for most standard garages. If your vehicle parks very close to the door and you need extra clearance behind it, the Short Bracket is ideal. However, it may not work with garage doors that have large handles, struts, or other objects protruding far from the panel surface. For reinforced or hurricane-rated doors with wide metal struts or hardware, the Long Adjustable Bracket is the best choice.
Yes. The full Infinity Shield system comes with the Regular Bracket by default. You can select the Short Bracket as an alternative at no extra cost. The Long Adjustable Bracket is available as an upgrade for $10.
When bought separately from the Infinity Shield system:
- Regular Bracket: $20
- Short Bracket: $20
- Long Adjustable Bracket: $30
Note: Separately purchased brackets are considered disposable installation accessories and are non-returnable.
Only brackets included with a full Infinity Shield system are covered by our standard return policy. Brackets purchased separately are non-returnable.
All brackets are designed to fit standard 2" wide residential garage door tracks. If you have a wider track, such as those found on commercial doors, we recommend the Long Adjustable Bracket, which is compatible with virtually any track type. If you're unsure, feel free to send us a photo — we’re happy to help confirm the best fit.
